Default Advice for family travelling to/from Auckland Airport?

Hello.
Can anyone give advice or info. or recommend for travel between Albany and the Intl. airport and other way for a family with young children and sometimes a lot of luggage as follows:-
A) Do you know a good reliable inexpensive taxi service or people type carrier especially as we sometimes have a load of luggage (more luggage returning to AKL)?
B) Also what do people do about child seats in the taxis? Do any companies supply?
Best wishes

Hi,
Taxi NO! Too expensive. Hire a car they do one way you can pick up at airport and drop off in the place you live and vice versa...we did it to Northland.

Shuttle's are cheaper than taxi's - i personally wouldnt want to drive on Auckland's motorways after a long flight suffering from tiredness and jet lag.

When we arrive in April we're taking our hotel's shuttle into the city from the airport. There's one every 20 mins at the international terminal, and costs $15 each. When we return, we'll be dropping off a hire car, which we've already arranged to have a booster seat in for our 5-year old.

I hear taxis are way too expensive.
