Accounting firm KPMG said in 2004 in NZ, there were 23,800 more women than men in the 30s age range, up from 7,600 in 1991. So ladies, hang onto your man! Basically, we are worth our weight in gold! A treasure!

Interesting reading indeed. Makes a lot of sense too especially thinking of all the kiwis I know who have ventured off overseas. Most of the males have hooked up with foreign ladies, many marrying them & choosing to stay overseas while most of the ladies I know even if they have married foreign men seem to return to NZ with their spouses in tow. Definate food for thought & would imagine it to be a good thing for all those single men in NZ still looking for Mrs Right huh?
