But the slide scanning is the big project for many people - I assume the Google photoscan is only for prints ...

Re: Your Photos
Hello Gabby,
DW and I just had a few days in North Yorkshire, never been there before. We stayed in Scarborough and visited Whitby and Bridlington.
Vacation spot, well, depends I suppose. We were away from home, walking 4 or 5 miles a day, seeing the sights of town and coastline and moors. To us that is a vacation.
Scarborough has beaches, theater, bowls, shopping. Rather windy and cold in November though but not cold enough to stop us getting around.
There are beach resorts (caravans mostly), upmarket hotels and B&B's, hiking and cycling, tours by coach, pretty much anything and the towns are proper working towns (increasingly dependant to a large degree on tourism). Plenty of open space away from the towns.
Oh, and ample fish & chips, beer too.
John

Oh, c'mon people.....doesn't anyone want to share their beautiful pictures? Again, it's much different seeing personal pictures of your towns or villages, vacation/holiday spots than looking at standard travel pics. The ones that have been contributed so far were so nice. I'm sure everyone here enjoys them.....

The beach in Poole today
Not quite the wintry scene that Bevs might have hoped for, but beautiful nonetheless
