We are due to move back to the uk in June, heading for York. We are very excited but having a few hiccups regarding schools.
Our daughter needs to start reception class in September and we have missed applying as normal. So we thought we could find a nice school with places then find a rental in the catchment area. Seems that’s not how the education department wants it done and is giving vague information to what schools have places.
So, anyway, what are nice places to live in York? Not Fulford, no school places! My husband needs to do school drop off and then get to the hospital by 9.15. (I’m a primary school teacher, you’d think this might be easier for me!!)
