I am looking for advice / any previous experiences of shipping my Jeep from Canada (Toronto) to UK. We only recently purchased a 2022 Wrangler Sahara model (for $60k CAD) and we LOVE it, so would want to take it back (it's the One-touch roof option), however understand it's a left-hand drive / not ideal with less re-sale interest in the future. However, to purchase the same model in the UK vs Canada is WAY more expensive, so the costs could even out.
Anyone had any experience or thoughts on this? I am interested to know if anyone knows of any left-hand drive specialist dealerships in the UK that could be interested in the Jeep, if we did bring it back over and wanted to sell?
Thanks

You can also use the cars space to send back stuff which takes the sting out of shipping.
Didn't ship from Canada, but have used My Car Import (I can't put a link as new user):
AFAIK as your car is slightly newer you will need an IVA test.
The resale thing.... They lose a little value but not a lot. As there are countries close to the UK that are LHD so sometimes people buy them and export them elsewhere.. Loads of LHD car dealers in the UK and I think its for that reason.

My brother-in-law came to visit Toronto, saw the price of Jeeps here and bought one. After he'd left it was air-freighted home. I thought the whole thing baffling but it was easy enough to arrange. The Jeep didn't last and he keeps chickens in it now.

Just returned from a visit to the UK.
With the roads as congested and busy as they are I can't imagine driving a left hand drive vehicle; without a passenger to help with overtaking etc I would think it would be a continuous nightmare

A notable exception would be passing a stationary vehicle partially blocking traffic requiring crossing into the path of oncoming traffic, such as passing a bus or dustbin lorry, where driving an LHD vehicle without an experienced "copilot" in the passenger seat would making passing difficult and significantly more dangerous.
