Default Where to visit

I am now certain to go back and I really want to go now but I think that first we should see a bit more of the place...

We are in the Dandenongs (Melbourne) and we have done most of the coast. Adelaide and Surfer's. We haven't much cash spare but we would love to see a few more places. Can anybody suggest a few places to go! We can camp in NSW but no further up.

Ohh and my garden is looking great for selling It wil have to wait till Spring now though Hope the market doesn't crash like some are saying.

Have you been to Hanging Rock? That's quite good fun - especially as there's a scary tale behind it too which makes it really interesting! You can hire the video too - the question is - do you watch the video first, then go to Hanging Rock, or do you go to Hanging Rock, then watch the video - we did the latter!

Williamstown - great place for a daytrip!

Where is hanging rock????

Somebody has suggested Mildura and I like the idea of seeing really rural places.. is there any where else in that direction??

I remember hitting the roads for an adventure in QLD.... oh my god we just kept on driving needing the loo more and more as we went on... all we found was a town with nothing there It made me realise how barren this country is when you are out of the main cities.

Have to say that I am dancing the jig at visiting Europe again soon. Hope my tent is still usable

God I'm going to miss my house though

Hanging Rock is out towards Daylesford way. Drive out through the lovely suburb of "Sunshine". It's spa country - Mt Macedon is out that way too, and Lederberg Falls and Trentham Falls - though I haven't been to either of those.

I sold our tent before we came as couldn't be bothered to clean it! I'm not a big camper anyway!

ohh when I go back I will have enough tents for the army

I love sitting back with my sister and my hubby sinking a few beers on a summer evening whilst the kids are off riding bikes or fast asleep zipped inside.

The last time I went camping with my sister though was when I had megga jet lag and we camped in gale force winds and rain. I remember her having to peg our tent down 3 times in the early hours whilst we was fast asleep Her's had flooded. It was on one of those lovely summer evenings

Perhaps I'll have to buy one of your tents off you then! We did a "camp" (as in all of 2 nights) last August in the New Forest - lovely part of the world - great place to cycle in too - can't wait to do that again either!
