Default What shipping company to use?

Does anyone have a list of Shipping companies who we can call for quotes.

We have just today had an offer on the house which we have accepted
I know we are still a long way away from it being set in stone, we hoped but didnt expect this so quick and now need to start looking at organising things.

Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly

Sorry no idea about shipping companies, just want to say congrats on getting an offer on the house I've been reading your other threads and know how much you want/need to get home. Hope it all goes smoothly from here

I really shouldn't be helping you coz I'm jealous that your going to be hame for xmas, BUT - seein as I like you - try OSS Worldwide Movers. www.ossworldwidemovers.com

We're using them in Jan and we got a very decent quote from them.

Wow, that's fab news, you pulled that one off quickly. Well done guys.

I am going to use Kents when we go back. They were the best quote out of 5 that i had. 20ft container $7,000.

I used John Mason's International web www.johnmason.com I cannot comment on their fees as my company paid for all transport costs, however they provided a very good and efficient service for me -
Good luck!

Try Across the Ocean Shipping www.atoshipping.com. We used them and found them very competitive and their service was spot on.
We even got a follow up call a few weeks after we received our goods to make sure everything went ok!!

Has any one bought their own container and shipped it themselves my DH is thinking of doing that so just wondering
I know it would be a lot of paper work as well and making sure all is ok for customs
