Default Wants to be home for Christmas

Hi,

I have a sister who has been married to an American citizen just last September. Recently she has thoughts of spending the holidays this December in her native country. But her residency requirements to stay for months hampered her plans. Is there any solution to her problem? Or can she go home without affecting her residency application status?

Advanced Parole....but that can take a while to be processed, but I don't really know the details on that, but there should be plenty on it on the site, so do a search, and probably check out the marriage based visa section.

and www.uscis.gov

Slow down, Bob Superslob...

centauri, what is her current immigration status?
There is no 'residency requirement to stay for months', but there are other things to consider. You haven't given enough info for an answer.

I agree with Meauxna

Sort of describes someone who came in on a visitors visa.
