Default unmarried Partnrt Visa

Hi,
Need to ask a question but am not sure if I am in the right area. will ask the question and if some one can steer me in the right direction I would be most grateful.
Question is: I am applying for an Unmarried Partner Visa to remain in the UK. Does anyone know if I require a Police record Check and a Medical?
Hope you can help.
Take care.

Don

Not, it seems, according to this page from the website of the IND (Immigration and Nationality Directorate) of the Home Office: http://www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk/ind..._partners.html. However, this page is talking about people applying from outside the United Kingdom, whereas from your post it appears you are already in the UK. I don't know if this changes the situation - perhaps someone else can help?

No, you don't need either--I've been through the process myself, all you need is your passport, your partner's passport, two passport photos of yourself, one of your partner, the 2 years worth of evidence of cohabitation, and proof of funds.
