UK credit check for returnee
Hi people.
Does anyone know the best, most reliable and secure way to obtain a UK credit check? I've been living in spain for the last ten years and I'm looking at coming back to Scotland. I've seen a few websites offering them but I'm a little unsure.
Also how would it work for my wife who's spanish? Could she get one?

Only use Experian and Equifax. You can order them from there. Similar procedure to the US. I did it before I left the UK so that on my return I could show a history even though I have been away.
You can get "International Credit Reports" - I used to work for a mortgage company and lenders accepted this company - http://intlreporting.com/home.html - all the time. It does cost about $200 US, but it does a check in a bunch of countries.
