Default trying to sell anyone

Trying sell the house to get back to the uk. Been up for sale for three months now with no luck. Is there others in the same boat as us. We are even considering renting it out and trying to sell it again in 6 months.

WE are in perth. Had home opens for three months now and no luck. Really want to get back to the uk for the summer. House market is flooded at the moment. Getting a bit depressed with it all now and just want it sold. When do you hope to return.

I know that in Melbourne prices are starting to slide....

not sure what the market is like in other places but things always go quiet near winter... things will definately pick up in the Spring. We were advised not to put ours on until end of September.

At least you know that over here when you have sold that is the case.. nobody pulling out 2 months later!! ( I know that there are the odd instances).

Friend,

Can you send me a PM - I am working overseas at the moment, When I am in Oz I am based in Perth.

I am looking for an investment property just now - maybe we can cut a deal. I have a property manager in Perth who will due the necessary viewing of your home on my behalf - originally migrated from UK to Perth - would not dream of leaving Perth for UK
- ( eccept to work in a tax free zone )

horses for courses I guess.

Just a suggestion perhaps you could advertise it here on this forum under the Marketplace as so many poms are coming to Perth you may get a buyer that way.

Ours is on there but sadly not many people come to NSW so we have had no enquiries.

Hi there friends,

We are in Perth, Ellenbrook.

We tried selling our house by ourselves. We had a professional For Sale Board, Home Open signs etc. We had the house on the market for around two months and a home open every weekend we just couldn't shift it. We had plenty of viewings but no feed back so we decided to go with an agent.

Within a week we had 3 offers and sold the next week!?

What part of Perth are you in? Not really sure how the market is going but definitely not like last year is it?!

Maybe you should get another real estate agent in to re-value the property, could you afford to drop the price slightly?

Good Luck

Hi Friend

We have only been here 9 months.. we are going to holiday in the UK next month then we will have a better idea.

If I had my way I would have gone back a few months ago. My father-in-law booked his flights over ages ago though so I thought that we had better stay on until he had been to see OZ.
How long we stay is a hard question!! It would be good to see a bit more of OZ ourselves before we do fly home...

Sometimes think that we will head back middle of next year then I think that we may as well hang on a while longer for the kids to get citizenship.. we can go for citizenship next August!! Dilema..

Hi claire
Thanks for getting back. We are from bedforshire. We have until next feb for citizenship. We were thinking that we should stay and get that before heading back. Its hard as at the moment just want to get on with our life and be settled somewhere. Why are you going back after 9 months and are you only going for a holiday period or longer. We thought of doing that but i no it would only make things worse and make us more homesick. We have someone interested in renting for 6 months. Thought that it may be a good idea to go back for 6 months and see how it all goes. Also these people may want to bye it after the 6 months if they can get the finance. WE have another home open tommorrow and there is another couple coming back for a second viewing. It will be just our luck that we will have an offer and a rental all at the same time. sundays posting will be advice on what to do.

We go back to the bedfordshire area. Where are you going back to. How long have you been in aus and why are you going back. Everyone you talk to thinks we are mad for going back. Do you get that response. We have a dog to. Do not have any of his injections done as yet for rabies. Was thinking of just taking him back and putting him into quarantine for six months.
