Re: ToR (Transfer of Residence) Timeline Update
The good news is, the VAT is only 25 pounds (like for each cat) -- At least that's what they charged me May 15th.

Re: ToR (Transfer of Residence) Timeline Update
I just tried calling and the recorded message states that they're "very busy right now and you might try calling back later" and then it hangs up. *sigh* We applied on May 8th, anyone get a TOR yet from around then?

I managed to get through to them this morning (after being on hold for 30 mins), they are currently dealing with applications from 3rd May, so still backlogged 😬😬.
My application was made on 12th May, so not sure what my shipping company will do as they’re packing up our house next week.

If my experience is any model, you'll likely be charged VAT, however they tell me that you can apply for a refund once you've received your ToR number. Uggg.

Re: ToR (Transfer of Residence) Timeline Update
I called again yesterday, after being on hold for 30 minutes or so i finally managed to speak to someone who was able to move my application to the “priority folder”. I received my URN a few hours later with no queries.
Very happy as the shipper is loading the container today. 😄
