Thanx Marmalade. Yes she is adorable. I miss her like crazy.
Meljor. A dongle is a small device that you plug into your laptop and it gives you internet access wherever you are. In UK they are giving away free laptops with every dongle contract! Although its not technically free as you are paying for it in you monthly bill.
I loved mine when i was there. I could go sit in the park and use it.

Mine is £30 per month
Coverage is excellent. It never failed to work no matter where i was.
They do have these things in Sydney, but my friend who has one says the coverage here is very patchy. In fact she cant get it at home so it was a waste of her money!!

No! Its 10.30am LOL
I do love my dangling my dongle about
I forgot to add in previous post that the £30 per month is with the laptop. You can just have a dongle contract if you already have a laptop which from memory was £10 per month

Forgot you were in Australia, not England (hence the change in post)

I'm considering buying a 24 month contract. I want a laptop for internet access when I'm in the UK...I don't have a landline in my house at the moment...so one of these would be perfect.

If you are the sort of person who mainly just surfes the web and have a mobile phone, i cant see the need for a landline now.

Utility Warehouse and car phone warehouse are different departments of the same company ....................So you can get them all including mob from the one company and only get one bill every mth. I have them all apart from mob ( i prefer PAYG) and i didn't get the laptop thrown in. So far i have had one bill for £91 and one for £103 And thats for all Utilities......bar water.
Oh just to add.....Landline to landline calls are free for the first 75mins. So haha you can yap for 75 and then hang up and then ring back for another 75mins all free.

I couldn't get a signal when I tried a dongle from 3. Now I'm using Orange. I live just south of Oxford, so was a bit surprised . . .
I believe I'm paying $15 per month for my dongle (maybe had a lower price for the first couple of months). I already had a laptop, but I did consider it.
I currently just have a cell phone and on pay as you go, but that can get awfully expensive! I spent 7 pounds talking to my mother the other day! I'll either get a land line or a contract mobile plan with free land line calls. Still, for the time being it's a good excuse for NOT calling!
