She ALWAYS had tea. And it was always "Just boiling", whenever you arrived.

During my basic training when I joined the Air Force, one of my instructors, an RAF Regiment officer, told us how one time on his first tour in Northern Ireland on one of his first patrols, they came under fire in a housing estate. His warrant officer pulled him down behind a brick wall, took out his stove and started brewing a cuppa, stating "don't worry sir, this will be over quickly, it always is, then we can be on our way. Might as well take the chance for a cuppa while we can!"

only the Brits....!!

English muffins are NOT quite the same as crumpets...

And biscuits are baked twice, making them hard - the clue is in the name FFS!!

Anniversary this month.. my jar of Marmite has a sell by date of December 2002. And it looks and smells just as wholesome as the day I bought it!

and Marmite is the perfect subject for its use as is PEANUT BUTTER
