Tax issues - us citizen living in the UK
Okay, my only other concern about becoming a us citizen and living in the uk is tax issues. I realise that as a us citizen living in the UK I will still need to file my taxes. I usually use the 1040EZ form....its nice and simple, how do I declare income earned in the UK on this form? Or do I have to use a different form? Also, where do I get these forms while living in the UK.
Lastly, if I earned say...30,000 pounds in the UK will I get taxed both in the UK and US?
I have never been good with taxes and this is even more confusing for me!!
Thanks!

You may get a better response on a group for US expats. Be assured there are plenty of US citizens living in the UK, who've got the same issues.
Note you also need to file taxes overseas if you're a US permanent resident, the difference being that US permanent residence expires pretty quickly normally once you're no longer living in the US.
