sorry for more questions but it does not mention in any of the appendix souse of a uk citizen living out of the UK? Which appendix do we fall under

It was 2 years under the old rules (or rather 27 months), but since the changes happened in July the "probationary period" is now 5 years before ILR can be applied for, which I believe is split into two and a half year periods.
