Ive had some lovely quality deep fitted US Queen/UK king sheets from T K Max and also from Dunelm (own brand)
I did miss my cheap but good thread count Walmart US queen fitted sheets and wished I'd brought some of those with me. They were the Better homes 300 thread count ones.
Still regret leaving my good stainless steel reverware pans behind.
Shoe shopping is getting better as I am used to the styles and brands now.
Definitely go to Costco or walmart and get the store brand zip top plastic baggies in all sizes to bring.

When bedding doesn't fit properly, doesn't come with a valance that fits, nor has an available matching duvet cover, I would dispute that "cheaper" is a relevant measure of value.
