Cheeky bitch, but as Sam says, did you really expect one? BTW, it seems it was expected of her that she'd get the money to have arrived here so quick.
Hope i don't have the pleasure of seeing them anyway;) |

Re: So FED UP!!
Hi there..............Families.....Grrrrrr!
I know how you feel about inlaws. We're the other way round as we are back in the UK and we have my husbands adopted parent (Loathe to call him a father or dad as he never has been one to my husband) and his 3rd wife coming to stay with us this weekend. They are from Melbourne and are on some European trip. When we went to see them in Melbourne they never once invited us over for a meal, didn't pick us up from airport or offer any sort of hospitality. In actual fact we stayed in some crummy motel and they met us for dinner that my husband paid for. They have never sent my husband a birthday or Christmas present ever and this year they didn't even send a card. So now we are expected to put them up for 5 days. I have told my husband I am not doing a thing for them. It sounds awful but I am not even going to offer them tea. I'm just going to say ' help yourself' and hopefully my husband will take them out every day. I will be keeping out of their way as much as possible. I do wonder why my husband has anything to do with them as his 2 adopted siblings don't but he is more forgiving. After this trip I am cutting them out of my life. Thank god they live in Melbourne. Aussies like to say they are warm people but this is the worst most selfish family I have ever come accross. Whats the difference between inlaws and outlaws? Outlaws are wanted!!!! Sorry to vent as well but I can empathise with what you are experiencing and it isn't fun. I think sometimes we just need to stand up and say NO!!! |
