We had another slight covering of snow last night ( barely an inch) here in North Linc's. Suns shinning brightly now and it will be soon all gone again

I find it all so ridiculous that the whole of UK came to a stand still over afew inches of snow though.

I'm surprised at how me and the kids have adjusted well to this weather. We thought we would perish but we are all fine. The whole street was out playing in the snow having fun..even the parents were out lol. It just shows that in temps of 40+in Perth no-one was seen, not a soul. It is nice to see people out enjoying themselves again.

Hows it going??? It didn't come to a stand still everywhere....thats just the media " AGAIN"...
I think the Sth got the bulk of it and theirs more to come apparently
My OH managed to get from Nrth Linc's to Reading last monday, without too much trouble and then to Cambridge and back into London
He said London was the worst...traffic was moving very slow, but he still got to where he needed to be and then back to Reading....I was in Canada last yr, on Vancouver Island and we had acouple of dumps of snow.....And their was big trucks stuck in the snow all over the place, it was pathetic.
I had an OP that morning and had to get to the hospital by 6.30am
Even the rd's leading up to the hospital hadn't bee cleared.......I finally arrived 1.5hrs late.....Heres a piccie i took last yr ......
