Shipping bicycle
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knows how much it would cost to ship a bicycle (removable wheels etc) to the UK from Australia - or if anyone has any opinions on the cost not being worth it and to just buy another one on arrival?

Re: Shipping bicycle
Exactly, it can be taken as part of your check in baggage as long as you don't exceed the standard 23kgs for all of your baggge, if you do, you are better sending bags of clothes as unaccompanied baggage.
Unaccompanied baggage is weighed and measured and goes on whichever is the greater, volumetric or actual weight. Bikes normally volume to at least 36kgs.........sometimes over 50kgs dependent on the size of the box......
