Excuse me butting in.
Is your 55inch TV a multi standard one or just North American NTSC? If the latter then you realise it won't work in UK other than for playing US DVDs through a US DVD player or multi-standard player.
The power should be OK as most modern sets run on 110-230V 50/60Hz.
