A, Rod thanks for the picture of you and the ladies in your life.
A, I recognize you from Las Vegas. You sold me some Timeshares and now I'm a millionaire.

Thanks Mallory, Derrygal and Barb.
I cooked me and Mum a nice Sunday roast today like I do every Sunday,
today it was Lamb, oven roast potatoes & parsnips, carrots, brussel sprouts & green beans, with a nice stuffing and real fresh mint, Hmmmmm lovely,
Apple pie and vanilla ice cream for desert, and a couple of beers each, Stella Artois, Sunday is the only day I can get my Mum to drink alcohol, my Dad didn't drink either ---- well just a half pint of beer shandy at christmas,
How come Im such a bloody boozer only joking, just my usual one full shot of scotch at night ---- just to keep me blood flowing and everything working you know

Sunday Lunch sounds great Jasper but.... Stella Artois? OK, I can go along with you enjoying Scotch but to drink a fizzy lager with Sunday lunch, come on, give British (or even Belgian or Irish) Real Ale a chance see, even the little icon thingy is drinking dark beer. maybe you have been conditioned by all those years drinking Bud in the desert, you know you miss it

No comparison between Stella Artois and Budweiser though. At least Stella is a decent lager

OK peeps another newish TV show to watch is Little England, it's all about these Brits who go to live in the Dordogne region in France but still retain their very Britishness.

Check out ITV player........

2 more shows I liked both on BBC - Hidden w/Philip Glenister (my kind of guy) and Death in Paradise. Death is very British in its humor and wasn't sure I would enjoy it but loved it. If anyone gets chance and still available Wales on Wheels was brill as well. I have seen episodes of Little England. Downton Abbey has got to one of best tv series ever in my opinion..

Only one more to go and after that we have to wait for the Christmas Day Special Apparently the 2 season box set is available next week and I've started dropping hints to Santa

John your right, I guess I only drink Stella cause its Mum,s favorite drink, and we seem to get a nice big box of the stuff for quite cheap at lidles,
but Im gonna look around for some nice dark ale, I dont go to pubs so I have to buy it by the carton like 12 or 18, I do like bargains
And thanks for posting your picture, I think I have started a thing going here when I posted my Pic, so maybe just maybe others will post there Pic too, it makes it real nice to be able to put a face to the characters and personalities that we all have grown to love on here
And you look damn good in that pub with a Pint in your hand

My Aussie mate and myself went to the cinema here in New Jersey a few years ago to watch the British movie "Death At A Funeral". It was hysterically funny, a real laugh-out loud movie and I highly recommend it:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Death-Funera...0106981&sr=1-1 (UK site)

http://www.amazon.com/Death-at-Funer...0107247&sr=8-2 (US site)

(You can also dowload the films directly from the Amazon websites, although I still prefer to buy the DVDs).

There was an American re-make of this film with black comedy actors Chris Rock and Tracy Morgan. I tried to watch it when I was on a flight to see how it compared with the British version....it was so awful I gave up after about 20 minutes!

Yes it is an excellent movie. I never saw the US version - no desire to either..
