Default Nowhere like England at Christmas time

Went to LA - too warm for Christmas. Christmas trees and lights just don't work with sunshine.
Going back to UK next christmas - craving Quality St and Markseys mince pies and christmas pud
Went to Canters Deli in LA - fun fun BUT not a turkey or cracker in sight

Random I know but just thought I'd share.

Palm trees with Christmas lights.....

Just be careful on this forum, calling it Christmas vs. Holiday may cause Liberals to get an aneurism......

That is racist and exclusionary, what about Kwanzaa and Hanukkah..... and Winter Solstice.... according to them.

I know this was covered in another thread somewhere, but to me it is Christmas. If others want to celebrate a different holiday at that time, and say to me, Happy Hunneka! then I'll take that in the good spirit it is intended. Anybody who chooses to get offended I might donate a quarter to - so they can use a pay phone to call somebody who gives a @@@@!

PS - we really did miss the UK this Christmas, as well as the family - yes I know it rained in biblical proportions, and is still raining, and yes, I know that about 1.5 million in the UK currently have Nora virus (seriously) - but England is still England...

Of course he did, and he was too lazy to read the thread where just about everyone came out for Happy Christmas.
