For us the ironic thing is that we are moving back to the place that we would have moved to had we not got the visa for Oz.
Hope you are enjoying the lovely cooler weather today Brits.

LOl...our first visit back was Winter and we expected everyone to hibernate...(well they do here in Perth..lol...what am I on about they hibernate all year round..lol) you know your informed by expats "bloody ell why do you want to back this time of year....it's freezing...everyone will be indoors trying to keep warm....etc...etc" we went back and it was 'buzzing" we felt like a couple of old dears...you know thinking of going to bed by 9.30pm....that's when people started to go out
....quiz nights...etc...going on during the week at our locals (we have two lovely pubs were we lived)....and the weather....we had 4 weeks of lovely weather....honestly....dark nights...cold....fresh mornings...did not stop any of our family from enjoying themselves....our local which has a huge beer garden had the outside heaters on and it was just a lively as it is on a spring/summer day...bliss just cannot wait....

The Lucky Country? Not for lots and lots of people especially in country areas. That's the part they don't show on Neighbours and Home and Away where lots of people get their ideas from that everything is sunshine, big houses with pools and everybody looks like blimmin' movie stars.......

My eye opener was working in a Centrelink call centre, the most depressing job I have ever had in my life I have to say.
