I am currently in London on one of my much-needed trying-to-recover-my-sanity-and-charge-the-old-batteries visits. Every night as I return from the opera/ballet/theatre/concert/night out with friends etc there are people still enjoying themselves in the pub gardens of Putney
Maybe not tonight though - it snowed overnight and the place looks like a winter wonderland. However, the sun is out in full force, so it may all be gone by tonight.
As for Young's Special........ nectar for the goddesses!

Doesn't even have to be a summer's evening!

We thought that....surfing...but on our last trip home we saw surfers in Scarborough (and it was one of the only wet, windy and cold days we'd had)...then in Llandudno (same trip) even jet skies and boats out that day....my dad had speedboats...we had 4 while I was growing up and we took the boats everywhere...lakes,sea....and that was while we lived in Manchester....the weather never bothered us....honestly great times....

Me too, as soon as the warmer weather hits, I am up and running all over the Sarf - cannot wait Devon, Cornwall, other bits of Somerset. I especially want to visit the Cotswolds again, I only got a glimpse on my move down here, but hey did God ever create a more perfect place than this area of outstanding natural beauty??

And that is something some of us (me!) don't appreciate until we move away to another country! If I could turn back the clock I would not have moved to Australia just to another part of the UK but hey ho..........
