How old are you? I am assuming no kids, if it was me I would move to within walking distance of Lark Lane, lots of bars, pubs and resteraunts, without the hassle of downtown.

The above link has lots of photos from all over Merseyside from a local, nice showcase of the good, bad and ugly. Some fantastic new development since I was last there in 98. |

If I might be so bold as to interpret. :o HH thinks that Liverpool is a British Houston.
I can't be so certain about Houston, but IMHO HH is wrong about Liverpool. It has some great parts, some very nice areas to live, and a vibrant city center, except as noted above by others, on certain local "feast days". It also has good public transport. I lived there, but regrettably only for one year. |

Heehee - I like it when people such as HH hate Liverpool - it means that I won't be seeing them there  You, on the other hand, are welcome to drop me a line if you ever get back that way - Scouse and I will buy you a pint :)

Just look at the median household income in Liverpool. I think you have your answer.
Seriously, there's nothing left to discuss. You hate Liverpool, great. I love Liverpool, great. May you never walk alone. |
