Default Moving back to UK from US (NJ) with high school student

We are considering moving back to the UK after 4 years in US (NJ) and need to make plans for our daughter currently in 9th grade. Does anyone have any advice as to how this transition between US High School and UK Secondary Education would work? She is a full Honors Student in her US High School, but her UK peers are already working through their GCSE courses. Anyone with experience of making this transition?
