Just wanted to say bye for now...the movers are in as I type...two very nice Singaporeans are doing the move and it is nearly brew time for them...lol..it has been hectic to say the least and I cannot believe how much junk I have collected again in a year....not junk really just things we don't or will not need anymore so the charity shop is doing very well out of us...still have sold our car and that is a huge worry....still have 3 weeks here in Perth though so fingers crossed..:: lol...it's a wet,cold and windy day here today...lovely...I have to laugh because every time we have moved home it has rained...bar once and that was a VERY hot day. Just trying to sort out how I can shop in Hong Kong but already have a suitcase full...mainly of clothes for when I arrive in the UK...that one kept me awake last night..lol...well as the two Ronnies said..."it's good night from him"

All the best Brits1, I remember a few years ago when I first joined expats, you were just thinking about leaving and I think we both put our houses on the market at the same time, so I"m so pleased to hear that you are finally going.....my house is still not sold and my patience is running out, want to leave here more than ever, especially after recent events, things are getting worse!

Good luck Brits. Try not too stress too much, you will soon be back and Perth will become a distant memory.

Hi and thank you all for the messages, I am using a lap top for now...packing was a doddle the movers were very nice and all I had to do was just brew up now and again....hopefully a buyer for the car is coming this morning....I have never sold a car privately and that has been an eye opener..hopefully I will not get a con man coming along..lol...no joking though I have had a few shady people phoning up..lol the weather has been wet windy and cold and I have seemed to have packed all more warm clothing in the container..lol...at the moment I am sitting writing this with short socks on (a pair of my sons) and also my flip flops as all my shoes were packed in the container....my fault not the movers...lol...oh heck I will just have to hit the shops when I get home...okay have to go for now buyer for the car is here..thank you once again for the good wishes.
