And that decision is return home to the UK and I am so relieved.
My health is suffering too much for me to contemplate staying here for much longer. We had planned to look at other states in particular NSW and QLD but have now decided to go on a damn good holiday all over the East Coast and then go home definitely within 6 months.
Rather surprisingly my husband is starting to feel that Perth is not for him and he was the driving force in coming here although we had made a joint decision on the move. Luckily for me he is supporting me 110% through my depression and just wants me to be happy.
Emigration isn't for everyone and I'm really sad it hasn't worked out for me here but I still think that more people settle down and stay than return home so to anyone who is undecided take heart from that.
I don't regret coming here and giving it a go even if it was for such a short time. Life's too short for regrets and I can now move on with my life.

I'm really glad you've made a decision. It must be like a load has lifted from your shoulders just knowing there's an end to this. I bet you your depression starts to lift too!

glad for you, it makes the whole "ozzie" thing much easier. I personally feel like a big cloud has been lifted and am actually starting to enjoy being here as I know its only short term.
Good luck.
