This is of no consequence to anybody here, but i just want to write it somewhere..
My husband is losing the plot. I need to get him out of here fast!!
Whilst i gave up smoking 2yrs ago, he still partakes of the odd roll up. Much to my annoyance.
I have been sat here engrossed in my plans. Searching the web for info etc. All of a sudden this strange smell wafts across my nose. Without looking up i said to OH " i think the neighbour is smoking dope can you smell it?"
He said yes he could smell it, but ts not dope, but green tea leaves!!!!
I looked up and saw him puffing away on a rollie. The idiot had looked at the green tea leaves in the cannister and decided to find out how they tasted to smoke...
He reckons it is lovely!
It now stinks in here!!
The word regression and mid life crisis ... what do you reckon?

Be grateful its not dope as thats more expensive than tea (I expect but I don't know!), although its a slippery slope maybe you could get some drug counselling now for him to nip this problem in the bud, so to speak!!

Yeah might be time to get out of this joint, if it blows!

I dunno, I sense a new business venture coming on perhaps - herbal baccy.
OTOH yes, looks like he may well be losing the plot!

Maybe there'll be hope for him when you get back to the UK and rent a house that has a no smoking policy in their contract. My hubby and I arrived in Northern Ireland from South African in April and we have to smoke outside. I've cut down big time as I hate having to stand outside in the freezing cold just to satisfy my addiction.

We have that in our contract and we're in Oz (we don't smoke anyway). It says we are allowed to smoke on the balcony with all the doors shut so it doesn't blow back inside, and also says we are not even allowed to do that within 2hrs of any tradesman visiting the house. It's a policy of the complex we live in, which has 22O town houses/apartments in, a lot of which are rented.
