Yes, yes. This is all well and good. But the fact is you can't get a decent bacon butty in this god forsaken country!! I live in a state where there are five pigs to every person, but not one of them is turned into proper bacon!! Now that is something that should make you scream!
Surely American pigs are no different physically from British pigs, are they no? 
What happens to all the tasty rashers of crispy back bacon over there then? I can't understand why they can't produce all the same cuts and rashers of bacon as we do here in the UK, smoked or unsmoked. I've heard people here who've been over there say how dreich the bacon was, and the bread too. So no chance of a bacon butty spread with a wee bit of marmite or accompanied by an equally tasty banger.

This puzzles me - speaking as someone who has been no nearer to the USA than the Mull of Galloway. Oh - I forgot - I have been to Cornwall...is that closer?
