How to transfer an overseas pension into a UK sipp? looking to move my manulife pensions into a Vanguard SIPP, any info greatly recieved.

I would speak to Vanguard in the UK direct. They are a good organisation and will help you through the red tape.

Otherswise, as a UK resident, the amount you can contribute into a SIPP is based on your earnings and how much tax you pay. You can contribute up to 100% of your earnings up to £40,00 per tax year. If you plan on earning more than £240,000 per year then different rules apply.

Note that also you can currently contribute £20,000 per person, per year into an ISA which has no strings attached and is tax free for life, even when you withdraw which I think is a good deal. Much better than Trudeau's TFSA.
