huh interesting... I definately get "dried out" by the AC, I have to use a nasal spray as I get really bad nosebleeds, apparently my nasal membranes are all dried out !!!

We definately don't have "dry" winters over here ...

Our water is basically 'forest to faucet'.. it's delicious and has no chlorine taste detectable.
That said, I've lived in S California before and been in places where I can't bear the stale tasting tap water.

My mother-in-law complained of the same problem when she was here for 2weeks in April. I actually installed a good filter on my showerhead to remove chlorine and other sediments. The only thing I could recommend would be to get a good filter, and start using a good moisturizing lotion immediately after showering. I prefer Dream Cream from Lush.

My scalp used to itch all the time, then I switched my shampoo to Lush's natural solid bar "Squeaky Green".

Not only did my head stop itching, my hair didn't have all those horrible oils and residue that other 'poos leave behind. It takes about week for the advantages to kick in. I also find I don't have to wash my hair as often, just rinse in through every day.

Skin is still bad in the winter though - horrible indoor dry heat the cuplrit. May have to try a humidifier this winter.

Well darn it now I want to try Lush products. Flippin expensive though, but they do sound gorgeous.
I want some of the hair treatments

Lush.Is.Addictive.

If you are not currently hooked on them, just stay away! I cannot begin to tell you how much money I've spent, and continue to spend, on their products over the years. For the sake of your wallet, stay away! It's too late for me, so I'm just giving you fair warning!

Hmmmmm I love Lush Karma soap - if you leave it open it scents the whole bathroom. It really is Lush!

Lush...absolutely bloody awful stuff and it stinks to high heaven. I can't stand it. My husband is banned from ever buying me any of it ever again and I've banned it from the house too.

Horses for courses and all that
