I'm so sorry to hear about your father. My father died suddenly 9 months ago...then 5 weeks later my FIL died suddenly...so I know what you're going through.

Very sorry for your loss. Never easy being away from family who are getting on in years, but parents want only the best for their kids and are content with just that.

I am so sorry for your loss, it happened to me earlier this year but it helps to remember the special time you spent with him very recently,

So sorry to hear about your loss, i lost my 2 grandma's and youngest sister all with in 3 months of each other, i nearly lost my mind, could only get back for my sisters funeral never felt so far away.......

Just another one passing on hugs and my sympathies.

You emotions will run high and all over the place for a good wee while - please don't make any major decisions in the next month or two. But I think I've understood that you were already planning to move back to the UK anyway? My very best wishes to you and all your family - look after each other

I can relate to how you're feeling having only lost my mother, who I was very close to, nearly eleven months ago now. The period of the sickening sadness and deep loss will eventually somewhat give way to memories of happier times.

Embrace the love you feel for your loved one and it will embrace you in return.
