Maybe Gosnells or Kelmscott areas!
There you can get a 4x2 with a pool for about or under $400k
plus a
Broken down car in the garden and hoons on your street corner all for free
p.s a joke for all those that live there!

Well one good thing to come out of this could be, someone taken in by the drivel on GMTV could come out here and buy one of our houses we are all trying to sell.
Then when we get back to the UK because people are so desperate to get to the land of beaches and boredom we may pick up one of their houses for a bargain.

They are that close in more exclusive suburbs too Sam. My friend has just moved into a rental in the same suburb as St Georges Girl and she is just as close to her neighbours and the house is probably worth close to a million dollars. You is lucky up in them there hills

I sold a 3 bed on 1/4 acre in Kelmscott about 12 years ago and moved to Melbourne. Not one of the best areas in perth, sold for 68,000 which I was pleased with. For anybody who knows the Kelmscott area, what do you think that would sell for today.I dont know, just asking.

Hey we lived in Clifton Hills when we first arrived.....(Kelmscott up on the hill)...we did not know the areas at all and apart from the lovely big blocks and views..you have to live with the "Real" Aussie's.....broken down cars.....furniture outside on the front lawns.....unkept homes and gardens.....we soon sold up!!!!! our neighbour use to have a goat, chickens (free rsnge) and anything else she could have to pretend she was living in a farm...no amount of asking her to tidy up, even the council had complaints for Health Reasons.........yep you can still buy a home for $400 there.....I wonder why!!!!!?
