Thanks everyone I am an accountant mainly public sector not a good place to be in this climate! if I try commercial not enough experience if I go for a junior role outside the public sector too over qualified I can not win! We are going to give it until the end of May! and then make a decision, yes I feel after the move this week I have only just started to relax, I am going to start on the side a card selling business Gardening does sound good I might trundle up to the garden centre tomorrow and buy some pots as we are in rented reluctant to do much to the plot but can take pots to our next abode and maybe some veg!
Feel better today have been out with the dog on a long walk in the morning sun then went to Polperro beautiful it is so ice to potter about when there are no tourists I have now given up shopping in the major supermarkets and enjoy going to the farm shops wonderful bargins
With the Easter Hols coming up lets hope we have nice weather!

Bear with it even though at times it seems really hard. We know how you feel as it took 8 weeks for me to find work and my wife's still looking.
It is hard to not feel guilty about going out to enjoy yourself and spending cash when you haven't an income but I think if you just stay in all the time you'll go crazy. The odd trip out keeps you sane and gives a boost to the work search come the start of a new week.
I looked on the job search as a bit like being in a job in that I'd only do it during the week with the weekend being my time.
If you're in accountancy, working from home sounds like a plan to start with I think. I wonder how many small businesses out there need an accountant- must be a few given the fact we're finally climbing out of the recession?
