veteran flyer - here... solo + baby twins + 3-year-old you'll survive....
don't even think of vicodin though - don't you watch House???
benadryl works fine for many but it can make some hyper, so have a trial run.
don't freak out if junior becomes tired + emotional. remember the rest of the passengers will probably have paid WAY less than you so it's okay for them to suffer just a little.

Lol, yes I watch House and know the score on the vicodin.
Luckily our little lad flys the same style as Daddy, falls asleep on the taxi to the run way, sleeps for a couple of hours, gets up eats, plays, colours, whatever then falls asleep an hour or so before landing, not even touch down wakes him up!

Imagine how excited i am to be flying back to the UK.. with a toddler! Its overnight, which is something.. but any advice?? I suggested Vicodin for the child but my wife seems unconvinced.
Does baby bendryl work? Does anything work? or will i just be the target of hatred by the rest of the plane for 8 hours??

I recommend taking her in your carry-on, obviously taking care to ensure that she is securely stowed away in the overhead compartment before take off.
Enjoy the trip back.

PS if other passengers dont like the fact that children are flying - they should get a private plane, miserable sods. Does Junior normally fall asleep when travelling in the car? Dont forget to take some changes of clothes, for little one and you in case of sickness (which probably wont happen but you wouldnt want to be stuck with puke for any part of the journey).

Cool. Do me a favor when you come back - stop in North Wales and bring my daughter home for me?

Actually maybe you could post her to my house and I'll take it from there - genius idea.

Good call. Look for a baby with a stamp on her forehead - she will be mine.
