That's the spirit - focus on all the nice things that you will be doing - I've been back 5 months now and am still in awe of our beautiful scenery, woodlands and villages

I think the sight of the countryside will make me cry.
We are very lucky in UK arent we with the beautiful changing scenery so accessible

Have you left yet? Sorry i didnt reply before but i only got my internet back on today.

Know just how you feel in some respects although i am still very excited at going back, but i did have a cry when i left work yesterday.

Thanks for thinking about me! I'm down to the final few weeks now and sorting out all our junk before the packers come. I loathe saying goodbyes so I hope I can get through that bit ok.

Good luck with it. I did the sad goodbyes last week and it isnt any fun at all - so emotional. Now through the other side (almost) I feel loads better. Keep focused on the bigger picture and happy packing

Thanks loads.
I'm in Melbourne at the mo, just got here after a few days in Sydney seeing friends. Havent booked flight yet, pondering a stop for a relax somewhere like vietnam on the way home
I'll post a load of devon piccies for you to give you a taste of what you'll be coming back too
Thanks for the post re: differences between east n west coast btw
I'll keep posting once back - have to keep updated with everyones plans etc
