The Euros
So what's everyone's bet on the Euros this summer? I've got Germany to win and Gomez top goalscorer 14/1 with paddy power.

Re: The Euros
Hate to be pessimistic but I suspect England will struggle to get out of their group - France, who are in form at the moment; Sweden, who tend to be a bogey team for us and the hosts. Hope Ireland does well but again, tough group with Italy and Spain in there.

I still think England will get out of their group but don't expect them to get further than the quarters. I think Ireland have a good shout at going through, especially with all the stuff happening in Italy, seems ot have affected their morale. Although Croatia look pretty good too.

Spain has to be in with another shout, but I'd like to see the Dutch do well.

Re: The Euros
There's a few who could win it alright. Shame England's not one of them. Saying that I think not having the usual British media circus of being favourites will help them

Re: The Euros
I'm hoping it means we have a chance. Pleased Lampard is out. Means we may well have a formation that works in the midfield. Lampard and Gerrard together just doesn't work but no England manager seems capable of not picking them both. Be interesting to see who is paired upfront in the opener. I think it's 50/50 between Rooney/Carroll and Rooney/Defoe. Would prefer it to be Carroll to be honest. Think Welbeck will get subbed in if we need an injection of pace upfront.

Re: The Euros
Carroll will play up front on his own against the French. Apparently Defoe's going to miss that game cause of his dad's death. That means their only two striker available will be Welbeck and Carroll. Hmmmm.
