After twoing and throwing for days over my eldest's Year 12 education certificate, found out today from NARIC that her "normal" certificate here in WA is still A Level equivalent in UK (thank God!!)......
Contacted www.naric.og.uk and you pay them and they translate the certificate back to UK standards for 47 uk pnds...
So quite pleased, except angry coz if shes stayed doing TEE it would have been even better and she could have gone straight int Uni
kids!!!

Kath I am really worried about your first post in this thread as I cant make sense of it.
If your daughter had equivalent of A levels she could go to uni so makes no sense to me.
I would advise you to call the University she may be interested in going to and speak with the international admissions department there as this is what I did.
I have a feeling that she may have equivalent of AS levels but she would need to do another year on top to get A level, I think its how its works but as I said I would call the university.
Good luck xxx

Thanks I have e-mailed them and waiting for a reply, if I dont here by Friday I will ring again, but they seem to think its the same
I know what you mean though, I was thinking that today, but it must be worth something as she has done 2 years more than she would have in UK (like Sixth form) I presume, I will be right p....d off if she told me incorrect:curse:
I will sort it though and let you know....
