Pretty sure I am not alone in this.
Anybody else sold their house in Canada (or insert country here), signed a new contract in UK, and are now in limbo?

Basically our house is being loaded into a container April 30th, our house closes May 4th, and we are in a lakefront cottage for the month of may living out a suitcase (life is hard right).

Meant to start new job in UK June 1st. UK estate agents are closed, and nobody is meant to be viewing houses. Okay sucks I may have to rent before buying. Airlines ar closing flights to UK from Canada. Only Air Canada and BA still flying after this month so far.

So we essentially could be homeless and unable to start new job on the start date.
No here I am the lucky one, It is the same company I am moving with so I can still work here until we can fly.

I am sure there are others in a worse situation. Would love to hear from you.

Kinda in the same boat as you. Our appointment to get my wife's visa was the day the closed the office. Our house in the US in closing May 14th, our house in Scotland is scheduled to close April 20th but I don't think that will be happening. Visa centre is closed till at least May 5th now.

I believe you can still close on your property in Scotland, unless it is different than England.
We got word Friday that no pets are being imported into UK from Canada until further notice.
The agent expects the last flights to be grounded shortly.
