British music, particularly indie rock has a long and illustrious history, but (with a few very notable exceptions) has been underproducing for the past few years. With the likes of Arcade Fire, Feist, Tegan and Sara etc, even Canada's producing more and better music than the UK these days.

The only band worth a damn from your list is Wilco:thumbsup:
