Been following a few threads on Led Zeps reunion and such, and was wondering what opinions you guys had on British Rock. Why is it that 90% of all the best and most influencal bands come from the UK?

And the influences for those groups came out of the delta, where are you going with this? another "British is best" thread.

Talking about rockers, I once met Robert Plant and mistook him for Noddy Holden.

Noddy Holde(r)
A Holden is a car made in Oz.

Good British (mostly indie rock) albums released in 2007:
Amy Winehouse: Back to Black
Bat for Lashes: Fur and Gold
Dizzee Rascal: Maths and English
Klaxons: Myths of the Near Future

...and that's about it.

British music, particularly indie rock has a long and illustrious history, but (with a few very notable exceptions) has been underproducing for the past few years. With the likes of Arcade Fire, Feist, Tegan and Sara etc, even Canada's producing more and better music than the UK these days.

I'd say sorry I'm not sure who they are?
