Schipol KLM/Northwest is great I try and get my flights outta Norwich to Holland then direct to SFO when I can, but beware boader patrol/Immigration there go through you with a fine tooth comb,not that that's a bad thing but they are the highest security airport I have ever been through.

nope. On the first day for essentials. which in my case was a new set of clothes and toiletries for the next 6 months. There is a limit on the amount. Find out what the amount is and max it out!!!!!!!!!!
I just got into frankfurt this morning on a full plane with about 27 kids. Not a squeek out of any of them! bloody amazing! They all slept - i am sure someone drugged them up every single one of them. God only knows what tomorrow is going to be like for the way back!
