Well, job hunting's been okay- not great, but not terrible either which is nice!

Downsides are that London is expensive real estate wise, especially if you need space (so families or couples), but if you're single and you don't mind a smaller floor plan, it's not impossible.

Travel is quite expensive, but I've gotten the student oyster card so that's not too bad, and I haven't found any problems getting around to various parts of the city (although I'd love to see more of England.)

I'll tell more as I discover it, but so far, student life here is quite good. There's loads to see and do, and getting around is no problem, so it all just works out quite nicely.

I agree, travel is expensive. At least you found some kind of travel card. I would imagine London to be very expensive. I am glad you are enjoying student life. Have you tried for any part time jobs? Are you using Skype to keep in contact with your folks in Georgia? Also, how are you getting used to the change in weather? One more question... how are the people there taking to you being American, although I believe you were born in the UK..
