Back Home....

Hi everyone.
Well we are back and settled and online at last.
I will not go on about the flight home etc.....long....boring...long....but worth every mile....sorry km if still in Oz.
We arrived back just after the floods so missed them thankfully....but hey its bloody lovely here....so green. On the way back up to Derbyshire up the M1 we kept saying....Its so Green our 7 yo kept telling us to shut up cause we were going on a bit!
Hubby in work....Kyle in school (had to appeal as no spaces, but got lucky) all sorted.
House is great with lovely neighbours (sorted from OZ online so is possible)
Only thing I miss is my friends I met over there but can email now so not so bad.
Oh yes forgot to say...we didnt tell anyone of our return to the uk...not friends or family. If you can do it then its totally worth it....the looks on peoples faces is priceless....made a lot of people very happy including ourselves to come back.
Hope everyone else is doing OK.

Congratulations on being home. It must have been wonderful for your friends and family not to have been expecting you. I am going home in four weeks and 1 day (but hey, how's counting) and whilst everyone knows we are coming home, no-one is expecting me to get off the plane 4.5 months pregnant! I can't wait to see their faces

Hi Libby
I see you are in Belper, Derbyshire. My Mum was brought up there a beautiful part of England and 'so green'
Wish I was there!

fab news that you are settling in so well so quickly.
Please keep us lot informed of how you're doing. We still feel in limbo land here and it's great to hear peoples tales of being back in the UK, I know it keeps me going that's for sure!!
How are you coping in a much smaller house? How's the weather been up there?
