Now we are headed back and thinking , wow, is Britain getting more and more snowy ??? Maybe, I will hang on to the snowboots, grippy things for ice, snow shovels , winter tyres , thermals, etc etc.....

My OH bought one of those furry Canadian hats with the big warm ear flaps for a laugh , thought it would be fun on Eastbourne seafront , clambering up Beachy Head ....might be the best thing we take back !!

That does it , we are definitely buying a car with heated front windscreen, which seems unheard of over here !

My "grippy things" are enroute, along with my "duvet" coat and a snow shovel. I hope the shovel does not cause an outbreak of shovel envy in the village as it is bigger than the ones on sale in the local stores.

I am now adopting your technical term of "grippy things" as I don't know what they are called either. You had better get onto your trademark lawyer right away
