Work for sparkies
Hi guys,
Im new to this forum and this is my first post
so forgive if im intruding.
Does any1 have any ideas on work for an electrician i any of these places Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Saudi. I know there is a recession on at the moment but anything at all would be hugeley appreciated.

Most trademen's jobs are carried out by hugely low-paid labourers in the Middle East. Unless you're aiming for a managerial/ consultancy type job, I'd steer clear, as you'd be unlikely to earn anything near to what you would in the UK.
The side effects of being in a low-paid job out here are:
- not being able to bring your family out with you
- not being able to afford your own car
- probably not being able to afford your own apartment
... and there's the down-turn, of course!
