Go to the Maldives if you like diving, but for no other reason.

Go to the Carribean for the culture (but stay away from the shithole that is Jamaica). I'd recommend places like Dutch Curacaou (sic), T&T or Cuba.

Agree about Cuba, we loved it when we went there a few years ago. Just seems a long way to go now..........or maybe I'm just getting past those 14 hour flights.
What do you think about staying in the middle east then. Anyone got any recommendations for there. The weather should be a bit better in September so maybe thats another options. What do you think.

These days, some people want the kids but not the responsibility (I'm not talking about anyone specific), and want to be able to pick them up and put them down like an i-pod or gaming console. I've got 2 young kids now, and of course they can get on my nerves, and it's nice to have a night out without them every once in a while, but I had 29 years without children in my life, and in another 13 to 14 years or so I will be able to do lots of things without kids in the way.

All just my opinion, like. Nee fookah's perfect.
My baby is going to the UK for 3 weeks.. I am dreading it!

Agree on Cuba too ... really fab location. Havana was quite dirty and had a big problem with prostitution but I think it has been cleaned up quite a bit over the last few years. Just a shame it is so far from here.

I fell in love with Cuba when there was a series of Auf Wiedersehn Pet filmed there, the one where Jimmy Nail fell in love with a ballet dancer

If you ever get the chance to go, do so ... one of my best holidays. I love all the old cars, the salsa dancing, the food, the people and just the whole easy going pace of life.
