I think the rest of the UAE is better than Dubai, never used to be but it is now. At least other towns still have beaches. I would move out of Dubai at the drop of a hat but no choice, husband job keeps him here.

oh, thanks- just had a feeling that was the case, no offense to dubai. These darn developers just don't know when to draw the line- it's the same anywhere in the world you go- it's all about pushing that extra 'unit' in.....ha,ha rant over.

it is getting really stupid here now. The traffic affects everything all the time as well. We are in al barsha and have friend in Satwa, want to go out for a drink but the thought of a taxi all the way back to barsha makes me want to be sick. The taxi drivers are nutters.
